I think you may have put in your pump upside down

Can you hear the pump running when you put the key in and turn it to the run position?

Check to see if you are getting fuel to the fuel rail by pressing on the bleeder valve on the rail. If none comes out, you might need to replace the filter. I would post this in the 3rd generation area and maybe get quicker replies from people who have replaced the pump on your model.

You should get gas out of the bleeder valve every time you turn the key to the run position and hear the pump running. It should pressurize the system. If not, you might want to check at the fuel filter and see if gas is pumping through it. Did you change it when you changed pump?
