Default 113,356 mile Question

I have a 01 z28 camaro with slp intake upgrade. Ive Talked with my dad and cousin both are ase certified mechanics and say 113,000 miles isnt much on a ls1 engine as long as ur not tearin **** up all the time. I was wondering since when i bought the car about a year ago ive put about 10,000 miles on it since its a daily driver. What should be replaced or looked at around the 115,000 mile mark. when i bought the car it didnt have a book about what to do around what mileage. If anyone has any knowledge or idea of what they would replace or refurbish. It still drives fine i think one of my fans may be failing when i turn the car off I can still hear a squeking noise coming from one of the fans. I leave the ac on all the time because once while i was driving from my home town about 3 hours away from Austin back to austin it overheated and i pulled over about 15 minuets of sitting there and looking for any kind of water leak i drove off and about 10 miles down the road it started heating up again i stoped at a walmart and put more water in it, it didnt take much at all to fill it up not even half a gallon. I was told the fans might of stoped working so ive kept the ac on because that forces one of the two fans to keep spinning.

Long Story short- What should be refurbished or replaced at near 115,000 miles on a ls1? Thank you for ur time and answers

Scheduled Maintenance at 100k includes replacing plugs, wires, changing trans fluid,
the air filter should be replaced.

Also since your having cooling issues I would drain and flush the cooling system and inspect the water pump, fans and relays.

Thanks craby and nj85z28 its been dyno tuned and the only trouble codes its come up with is the cats witch i emptyed out and ive got a k&n air filter. should of wrote this in the first one but when at a certian rpm around 2000 rpm i can hear a raddle its the driver side exhaust where it changes from a round tube to the flatter pipe it raddles around and makes the cat raddle and touches the heat sheild above the cat. anyone have any ideas of how to stop it? i have no job right now so a free fix whould be a great fix thanks again people.

you should probably replace the broken fan too. for the cat, remove the heat shield and see if it helps
