which 10 bolt rear end?

I'm new here, Hi everyone!
I am in the process of collecting parts for my new project, building a custom light weight roadster and I want to use a late model ('98-'02)Camaro 10 bolt rear 3.42 or 3.23. I have seen on ebay a guy has brand new stock ones for sale. He says he also has some SLP rear ends that he will soon be offering up for sale. My question is; Is there that much difference between the two? I will be running a ZZ4 (355hp) sbc engine with TH350 TCI Comp trans in a 2,100 lb car. Will the stock posi rear end hold up OK for daily spirited driving and the occasional blast down the strip? Or should I wait for a SLP? I have no experience with the GM 10 bolt so I hope someone can help. Or maybe someone knows where I can get a good used or rebuilt one.

The ZZ4 shouldnt tear anything apart unless you have a great track a big convertor and a good set of slicks... I have a 355 thats pushing 450hp and im running a big 10 bolt. I dont see any problems... Try a salvage yard for a used one.
