Grand am's did come with a 3.8. The laste 90's model. I garuntee it. They grand am gt is is a quick little car. Vs.a grand prix gt, it'll win, becuase it's lighter. But yes they did come with a 3.8

wow, i am very confused now! I stand corrected. The only year i could find the a 3.8 was 1979 lol. Can some one shine some light on the "3.8 Grand Am" I guess i would have lost that money. I know a girl that has a 3.8 grand am, or so i thought.
Grand am's did not have a 3.8, they had 3.1's, and 3.4's, and a cheap 4 cyl
my sister had 2 of them, a 97 gt /3.1and a 2000gt /3.4.
