I did a burnout yester day, and can only get one wheel turning. Is that normal?

Yup, you don't have a posi-rear end. Mine only spins one wheel also, V6?

Your RS must not be a Y87 car

 

Mine is the same way do they all come like that from the factory or do they switch it up on random models?

 

get a phantom grip kit, i heard there nice, alot of the local ricers by me use them that don't have a posi rear or front. Also it willhelps with 1/4 mile time too. This one kid i know has a infiniti G20 and pulled high 12s with a non-posi FWD. He put the phantom grip on it and started pulling mid 12s. Give it a try.

 

Y87 cars have LSD

 

00camaro00-- I'm pretty sure your SS should be spinning both wheels. You may want to look into changing your rear end fluid and adding the appropriate LSD additive. your posi may be wearing out. I have yet to see a SS like yours without a posi.

something on yours is broken or not working correctly, you should definatly spin both tires

 

i thought the RS package automatically added the Y87, guess not, or if it is the posi could be warn out, have you ever left two strips before or did you just get the car?

 

I've never owned a newer Camaro, however I've never seen one that just spun one tire. Hell mine does but it's an 83 from back in the open diff days.
