Default Monoleaf or Multileaf Springs - Which to Choose

Help

I have to decide soon on whether to purchase new mono or multi-leaf springs for this winter's project. the car currently has multi's on there now. I know the mono's are lighter, but other than that I don't know if they have any advantage over the multi's in terms of how the car will ride, handle, and launch.

It is a street/strip car - mostly street. 454 chevy, auto trans, 3.73 gear, traction bars, etc.

thanks

lee

I would definately go with the multi leaf springs. They're more duarble, reliable, and no mods for the axle mounts. I don't know what year you have, but if it's a second gen 78-81, you could go with these.
