Default first win after 2 years

okay so here is how it went down i have been building my camaro for about 2 years and just got it on the road today so i drive it to my college and when we break for lunch a couple of us pile in my car and my other freind has a 01 trans am with the 6 speed and upgraded intake and full exhaust and as we are leaving the school he goesfirst but he waits on me to get beside him so we both just gas it from about 35 and by the time i let off to stop at the red light about a 1/4 mile away i had him by 2 lengths and what made it even better is i had three other people in the car with me and i am about 350 and another guy was about 260 so my car would be a lot faster with out them but the irony is the guy i raced was the guy that helped me build my 77 camaro not bad for a carburator

Not bad for a carb...what's that supposed to mean! Go watch some NHRA pro-stock racing, they all run carbs, it's regulation.

Now...back on topic, good work, what all do you have in your '77?

the only reason i said that is i have a couple of diffrent f-body freinds but all of them frown on caburators and they have been trying to convince me to convert it but i don't think it is worth it anyway, i have a 355 with 10.5 to pistons and a forged bottom end holley systemax two topend (heads, cam, and matching intake) 670street avenger carb, afterburner headers, 3inch exhaust, msd ingniton, petronix distributor, 7qt oil pan and 1.5 lunati full roller rockers
