There's always "juice", a small kit should put you way ahead of your friend, they even make one called a "sneaky pete" real small bottle, hide it anywhere, have fun.

if your evo does around 13.2 and beats him. Your new camaro will do that stock with your auto. the stick version does the 1/4 mile in 13.1.
