Bought new parts after last race
Both my dad and I race our 92 in autocross. We have this thing pretty much set, or so we thought. After a race a couple of weeks ago, we determined that last season's rear 225mm tires have to go (well they worked great last season when there wasn't that much power). We were basically spinning out of every corner. So we went with 255 so we didn't have to buy new wheels to make new tires fit. We also thought that the Hawk HPS pads were going to be great. Again turns out we were wrong. After two runs, the brake fade was incredible. Let's just say that two weeks later and you still have to press the pedal down almost to the floor to get any braking action.
Anyway, we love racing that thing. It is certainly not a cheap hobby to race cars, but definitely fun. That thing got a 1.04g according to my GTech on street tires! Forgot to take the GTech last race, so will take it next race and se what it can do on race tires.
