What year car?
Is the fuel pump working, mechanical or electric?
Looking down the carb and pumping the throttle, do you see gas squirting?
Is your choke closed, open, part way?
Take a cap from a spray can, fill it half way with gas, pour it down the carb, and try to start it.
Then report back with results.
Oh yeah, do not try pouring gas down the carb while cranking the engine over. A backfire could end badly.

you should figure out if your getting gas and spark and then move forward from there. always start simple and work from there. post ALL details that you are aware of.
example:
it's getting spark and it's getting gas to the carb but isn't starting. It back fires or sputters as it's cranking.

All information is of extreme use when trying to diagnose a problem.
