93 z28. msd opti, changing from 93 lt block to 96 lt block. i am debating with myself between sending my stock heads in to elliotts and going with the le2 head cam deal or tpis port job with the zz9 cam. both are about the same cost. i am leaning to elliotts, mostly cause the cam will be ground for the build and add ons.
also looking at the tpsi afr's with the zz9 but the cost may be outa my reach i would kinda like to know the potential gains for the buck on the afr's and limitations if any of the stock heads that the afrs would not have.

an extra on this... changing from the 93 block to the 96 block, is there a difference? from what i understand the msd opti will work with it? is there a reason the stock one would not have?

i dont think there is a block difference but i believe the 93 had an unvented opti and the 96 had a vented. and idk anything about tpsi but they are afr's? wat size head? lloyd does real nice work and ive seen nice number but a set of the right afr's and a custom cam from lloyd would be a real nice set up. also dont rule out trickflow. i think trickflow is a nicer head then afr and have had better results.

that tpsihead is a pretty small intake port. lloyd will probably have your stockers ported out more and most likely flowing more. id go with the le2 over that other option. with the right suspension and all you could be in the low 11s na on lloyds le2 ive seen it.

No your Opti won't work from one to another. There was a design style change mid-year 1994. It connects to the cam differently, and the cam end is different too.
You wanna sell the MSD?.
