My son and I are new here. He just purchased a somewhat project car. '91 Camaro not sure if it is the 305 or the 350? A/T We are having problems with the speedometer. I have had the instument cluster off and everything looks ok to me there. I also see from the repair manual there is Vehicle Speed Sensor. Having a hard time locating it on the transmission. I appreciate any suggestions.

The VSS should be at the rear of the transmission, with wires plugged into it.

 

Do you know what type of transmission? If you can give me that I can get you a picture of a transmission if it's one that I have out and sitting and show you exactly where it is.
