Questions on rebuilding small block chevys
 

I'm looking to rebuild a 350 (first engine rebuild) and had some questions:

With a tight budget, which would be better. EFI or carb?

How hard would it be to convert a gen. 1 350 into fuel injection?

What are the difference between the gen. 1 and the lt1?

Will any transmission, such as a T-5 bolt on to a 350?
