Default Paying $25 via PayPal if help with this cars running. SES error 24 and 43

1989 Camaro 350 TBI T-5

Alright here's the deal. I am sick of this car, I cannot figure out what is wrong with it. If you give me an idea and it fixes the car I will send you 25 dollars over paypal. And I will trust me.

Car runs fine until something happens. The SES light comes on. The car bogs down, when you WOT it gets VERY loud and the RPMs SLOWLY increase and barely can get over 3000 RPMs and SOMETIMES back fires in the intake. Shut the car down and restart it it runs perfect after that. I will be getting a video of this tomorrow.

When I pull the codes I get 24 and 43.

24. When engine speed was between 1200 and 4400 RPM and throttle position angle was less than 3%, the MAP signal showed low voltage (high manifold vacuum) for at least 5 seconds.

I just saw this and am unsure on how to fix this... Any ideas?

24. Circuit fault in vehicle speed sensor
(http://www.thirdgen.org/service-engi...error-codes)My car does not have a Vehicle Speed Sensor

43 The ECM did not detect a knock signal during near wide open throttle operation with coolant temperature above 194° F or the knock signal was present for 4 seconds or more during normal engine operation.
Replaced the Knock sensor

43. Low voltage at electronic spark timing circuit
(http://www.thirdgen.org/service-engi...ht-error-codes)
Replaced the ignition module

What I have replaced on the car (was not meant to fix the problem):
Alternator
Battery
Oil pressure sending unit
ECM

For the throttle plate to open only 3%, shows the TPS and knock sensor would start in if the rpm is at 4k and the throttle hardly open is not ideal fuel/air ratios.

"24. When engine speed was between 1200 and 4400 RPM and throttle position angle was less than 3%, the MAP signal showed low voltage (high manifold vacuum) for at least 5 seconds."

So, once the throttle is applied, the butterfly is not matching the throttle position. We have an actuator besides the throttle plate not opening on the matched foot apply?

There are 3 basic causes for codes to appear. They are:

1. Connector not connected
2. Wire out of connector
3. Wire touching ground

Figure out which 3 are the sub-variables not included in your 3 basic wire failures communicating to the ECM

You might want to have the catalytic checked I had similar problems that drove me crazy until it got so bad I couldn't drive it. I know what you might think that the catalytic should affect it all the time but if it is not plugged up completely it will act crazy. I had backfires, the transmission was acting funny, would not go above 40MPH, I would stop shut it off and start and it would act better for awhile. WOT and slow speeds are an indication that the catalytic is plugging up. By the why if that fixes the problem give the $25 to you favorite charity.

Good Luck
