Default new heads.

what is a good set of heads that will take my compression to like 8.5 to 1?

AFR 180cc LT1 heads with a 65cc combustion chamber should get them to 9.1:1, but the heads have a 3/4" head decking so if you're planning on running a blower they'll be great.

with thoes heads would i have to lower my compression more for a turbo?

You wouldn't necessarily have to lower you compression for anything, it just depends on how much boost you plan on pushing, but to be on the safe side, more for the rest of the engines sake, I'd say yes you'd still need to lower your compression if you plan on running anything over 6 or 7 lbs of boost.
