I'm just looking for some feedback on what you guys think. These are the specs on the 383 I'll be getting in about a month and a half:

CHEVROLET 383/360 HP 4 BOLT HIGH PERFORMANCE BALANCED CRATE ENGINE

Sealed Power hypereutectic pistons and rings
Scat Performance stroker crank
Competition Cams performance camshaft
Fel-Pro gaskets
Clevite 77 rod, main and cam bearings
Melling high-volume oil pump, pickup screen and driveshaft
Valve guides
Pioneer harmonic balancer, flexplate, performance valve springs, brass freeze plugs and bolts
Melling push rods
Double-roller timing set
Professional Products air-gap dual-plane intake manifold (non-EGR)
Chrome timing cover, valve covers, oil pan, dipstick/tube and breather
GM valve locks/retainers

With that... and This transmission (See link below) how does everyone thing this will work out?

I got some more info on the CAM and Heads. also info on Torque

The heads used are GM cast iron heads with 1.94 intake and 1.50 exhaust valves. The cam is a new Competition Cams Xtreme energy camshaft with .477 / .480 lift and 268 / 280 duration. The peak torque is 410 ft. lbs at 4000 rpm.
