METHANOL -- Purging
Hi,
Newbie here.
I've got a '68 with a 572ci motor. It's my 1st Methanol car.
I've read that if it's gonna sit for more than a few days that I need to purge the system with gasoline, because the Meth is so corrosive.
Can someone please walk me through the purging process?
Also, as far as starting it when cold... The guy that I bought it from said to pour a small amount of gas in the carb to prime it. Is this the best way? Any other suggestions?
I know that I have to change the oil after each trip to the strip(track only car). Is there anything else that I need to be aware of about the Methanol?
Thanks in advance.

I use a squeeze bottle for ketchup/mustard - pick your color.
Fill about 1/3 full and squirt into the vent tube as it goes directly into bowl.
Carb is primed, hit throttle a couple times to prime accelerator pump and close choke, if equipped.
