i was looking into getting a cam for my lt1, i really like comp cams 306 and 503, how bad would those be for a DD i know they both idle 1800-5800 rpm, what else would i need when i install the cam besided the roller rockers ?

You need to get the valve springs that go with the cam.

You can, and depending on the age of your engine it could be a good idea, but it's probably not a necessity because it has a full roller assembly.

id say valve springs, lifters, pushrods, and it also may be a good idea to put in new rocker arms as well

One for each valve, or rocker arm, or valve lifter, or camshaft lobe.
