Default Engine Question

Ok... This is just a Quick question I had about engine compadability.

Are the engines in 82s injected?
If not they would have no problem going into my 79...
Right?

Most were carbed, it will bolt in the 79 , I think all the v8s were 305s that year.

Well the thing is that this guy I know is trying to sell it because the Wireing is fubared and the car doesnt run right. The engine is recently rebuilt 350 but has been sitting for a while. It has Vortec heads and all edelbrock on top. He is selling the car for $500. If its carburated I'm gonna buy it and swap the engines then give the car to my bro for his 1st project.

That sounds like a deal, the edelbrock stuff and vortech heads would cost you close to $500 alone if they are in good shape.
