Default Engine Paint

I have a 81 Camaro with a 305. The engine right now is Chevy Orange...The car is goin to be black soon so I wanted to paint the engine black...I have bought a braided hose kit with blue clamps...The last time I painted and engine was the 350 that came with the car when I bought it...But it caught on fire and was scrapped...What kind of paint will look the best....I always have been using the spray can you can get at Advanced Auto Parts....Is this a good paint or is there something way better but not exspensive??....I also would like to paint the intake a clean grey/tan color (I hope some one knows what color Im talking about)...since I cant afford a chrome one... any ideas?

Also if you put a coat or 2 of clear coat over the color (using high temp clear coat), it will also help the paint last a bit longer as well.
