Default Bbc crankshafts scat vs procomp?

i brought 4340 cat crank with a 4.250" stroke, i brought it off ebay for 600 bucks.
i thought it was a scat crank but now the box just says cat, is these two different companies? or is it the same? our both cranks reliable? i just want to know if i got riped off, and if i did, buy how much.?
