What are your final goals for this one? I can't really help since big blocks are way out of my territory, but they're kinda awe-inspiring. So make sure you don't leave us hanging at all on this one!

I've got one of theses 800cfm electric choke Quadrajets on my 454,great carb for both pulling power and mileage, well mileage for a big block anyway lol.
It will work well with a Edlebrock Performer intake for spreadbore.

Good luck on your build. RPM does great work.

What's the lift on the Voodoo and what ratio are you going with the rockers? Is it the 512/530 lift 60201 cam? I think I would try to get lower duration and get your lift through higher ratio rockers if possible. A smaller volume intake will help with low end torque also.

I would go with the 770 as far as the carb goes. What size are the combustion chambers and runners on the heads? Are you using manifolds or headers (if headers are they shorties, full length, etc)?

I'm wanting to go with a 454 stroked up to a 496 so color me green with envy.
