Default 454 to 511

Ive got a 454 block that I recently made into a 468. Well it was my mistake and I took it to a low quality machine shop (unbeknownst to me) and they did a horrible job. Some bores are bigger than others, poor honing, etc. Anyway, I was looking around the internet and saw some guys build a 511 out of a 454 block which is a .125 overbore without sleeving and I believe a 4.250 stroke. Ive had some people tell me you can only go .60 over on a 454 however. Can anyone back this up? I'm trying to start all over and since I have the means I'm willing to buy a new rotating assembly for it. Thanks.

I know 60 over is about as far as you would want to go with an early block. The newer blocks may be different. IDK. Why not go with a good 496 assembly?
