Default 3927187 heads

Does anyone have any information on these heads? I know they're 64 cc heads from 69 - 70 but information more than that would be helpful. I've already been to mortec.com and a few other sites. I'm looking for valve sizes and what type of vehicles this came in. I know they were on 350's.

Thanks!

These Heads should be named unobtainium because there are none to be found. As far as what I've learned they came on 1970 Corvettes with the LT-1 body option, not the common Lt1 engine, those were 186's except the Corvette LT-1, you know the one with the big block hood!. Also they came on the 1969 Z-28 when you ordered the dual quad cross ram manifold, you know the option that came in a box in the trunk and you or the dealer would install it. Back in 1978 my neighbor had a yellow LT-1 1970 Vette and while he was adjusting the solid lifters I noticed it had screw in studs and I said, my '70 Z28 just had reg.press in studs. I know now these were rare heads.

I thought those had the 2.02 angle plug heads.

I bet those heads were a little easier to come by, over ten years ago, when kyphur posted this. lol

And probably cheaper too! I bought a 1970 Z28 brand new in 1970. It came with the screw in studs and guide plates. Valves were 202/160s, Chevy part # was 3987376. It was also a service replacement head for the 302 after 1969. Valve lash for the LT1 was 24/30.
