Ok i just recently got a 79 camaro, and it has a 355 crate motor, bored .30 over. He has paper work for it but i didnt get it, ima get him to mail it to me. Anyone know anything about these?

 

Yes, apparently the guy you bought the car from knows. There are varied levels of crate 355's, so it could be anything. You can get them for around $2k up to the $5k range, it all depends on what's inside, the type of heads it has, the power rating, etc. By the picture I can tell you it's a Gen1 SBC, pre-1987. To solve the rest of the mystery, you need the info from the seller.
