Ok guys the 307 idea is no longer. I've made my decision to just build a 350(or try to at least). I have a question though. Obviously my factory built transmission with 160,xxx mi is going to go as soon as I make my first pass once the 350's in(if it will even bolt up to a 350). If I were to get my tranny rebuilt more race ready, will it even bolt up to the lt1 350 motor they used in the 93-97 camaros/firebirds? because thats the motor I'm looking to purchase then build. I'm going with this motor because it seems as though I would have the least amount of problems as far it actually bolting up to my current motor mounts. So all I basically want to know is, are the auto. trannies they put in the 3.8 Camaros/Firebirds the same as the auto. trannys put in the 5.7 lt1 Camaros/Firebirds?
