wax question
 
ok i clay bar the camaro today the waxed it. then it started to get dark, fast! i think i got all the wax off but im not sure? so i want to know if the wax being left on the paint is bad in any way for the paint? i know it will look dumb with missed spots but other then that? mothers clay bar kit is what i used.

If you missed a spot just remove it. Not going to hurt anything.

thanks i didnt think it would,any tips for getting wax of of trim parts?

there is a place called Sam Brown, get the gray or blue compound. It'll work better than that stuff u get at murrays or csk or autozone or napa

No, the wax sitting on the paint overnight isn't going to do any damage to the paint.

When the sun comes up, stand at the rear end of the car on one side and take a step away and look at the side at an angle. Crouch down so you are level with the car. Any wax remaining should stick out like a sore thumb. Do the same thing for both sides and the back/front end shouldn't be to hard. Most problems are little spots of wax left on the lower parts of doors etc.

I like Meguiars Smooth Surface Clay kit. $20
The white clay is easy to use and the kit includes a very nice microfiber towel.
