Can I get scratches out of my windshield?
 

Well when I got the car the windsheld had a bunch of scratches from the wipers, and it's really hard to drive at dark. My dad used some kind of scratch remover made by Turtle Wax... and it worked alright, but didnt really get them out. So is there anything else I can do besides buying a new windsheld? Can I take it to some auto glass repair place and have them like... buff it out or something?

This was discussed in another thread. I believe that the outcome was you could use polishing rouge usually found at a jewerly store. But if you are able to run your fingernail across it and can feel the gouge, then it is in there for good and the only remedy is a new windshield. I suppose you could try the polishing rouge anyway to see if it makes a difference.

Oh okay thanks, yeah I heard of people using jewelry polish on their iPods, and I was wondering if it would have the same effect on a windshield. And the scratches arent deep, I cant feel them.
