ECM Question...
I have an LT1 engine in the car I just picked up. It was swapped into there from another vehicle and have no idea what car it came from. I found the ECM and have read the following part number off it:
ACD: 88999183
GM: 88999183
LC21-4307-DCA3328
It does have a BLUE colored chip in it, and I have no way of knowing if it was tuned or chipped..How do I know and what do I look for? Also how do I repprogram it if I wanted to?

What year computer. 93 and older used a MEMCAL chip that plugs into the computer, this chip contains all info for each particular application. 94 and newer do not use a MEMCAL chip, all programming is within the computer memory. In place of the MEMCAL there is the KS module which processes knock signals and sends them to the computer
