okay pete, i did the multi-meter test, i'm getting no power to the coil or the ignition fuse in the fusebox but the fuse is not blown. the wiring diagram i'm looking @ shows the pink wire running into the TCC Solenoid. where is that located and how do i fix it.

EDIT: sorry double post. my electrical diagrams in the book show that i have 2 options. either the MAF or the TCC solenoid. which i believe is in tranny??

it could be the fuseable link is trying to go but not. lol. try cleaning the connectors in the power junction box. its a little red plastic box with a flip lid on the passenger side fenderwell. wire brush em good. check the ground junction there to. then there are a few grounds on the motor, one on the side of the block by the starter, one on the driver side front of the motor. it also has a ground strap that goes to the frame of the car. then theres one behind the belt tensioner on the front passenger side of the motor. check all the grounds for damage or corrosion and clean if needed. there is a few grounds inside the car as well. i know of one on the driver side under the kick panel. the book you want is a factory shop manual. this is what it looks like and it also apears the 95 is hard to find. this one is spendy.

Power for that fuse comes from the ignition switch run or start position. Power to the switch comes from fusible link "E". The switch also provides power to the two injector fuses, so if the injectors are getting power the switch is good and there may be a wiring problem. (PCM provides the ground to pulse the injectors).

i went ahead and replaced the ignition switch, and i'm still having the same problem. what else would cause the coil not to get power when the key is in the on/run position??

where is the fusable link located? my POS manual i baught from the autoparts store doesn't show a location for any of them besided the fuse boxes. If a guy wants to run his own wire to the coil, what would be the proper size fusable toggle to use?? 30amp? If i have to i will. Sorry for all the questions but i was always told that the only stupid one was the question not asked.
