Default Computer problems

When Ifirst got my camaro I didn't notcie it but the dynostic(sp?) port has been removed. There are not even any trace of the wires for wher it should be. I've looked all under the dash but still nothing. It is a 1999 3.8l and was wondering how hard (and expensive) it would be to fix this, or if it can be fixed. Would really like to turn my SES light off. lol

Thanks

Sounds like someone did some weird mods. Does it still have the same PCM, or was it chaged? You will ned to run new wires from the PCM to the ALDL connector, or at least from where they were cut. Make sure the connector is not hanging loose somewhere under the dash.

My shop teacher and I looked all under the dash. He still can't believe that my car starts. As for the PCM being changed I do not know, where would I look to see if the pcm is changed?
