2000 V-6 ECM and BCM programing?
I have a 2000 V-6 that the computer went bad under the hood. Got a new computer off of E-bay that is programmed to the VIN and the car now runs fine. Only problem is that the airbag light stays on now. I am told that the BCM needs to be reprogrammed to the engine computer. Is there a way to do this at home?
I know that a lot of stuff has a work around. An example would be that the remote key fobs, most people say they can only be programmed at the dealer but I found the info on the net to do it on your own. Just hoping to not have to pay the dealer for this either. |
