Agreed. I think if theres not a rule about it maybe we should just shut them down when they pop up or delete them cause Im tired of arguing about the BS. Seriously.

No one here forces you to participate or comment on any specific thread.

 

For as long as I've been a member of this board we have allowed political and religious threads as long as they didn't get out of hand. Like GMD said, nobody is forcing you to participate in the threads. We have had political threads that have turned into flame-fests in the past and they were quickly eradicated. If people keep the discussion calm and composed I don't see any issue with them, if they start getting hostile they'll get killed. Simple enough...

if u think this is rough u should check out the threads ive been in on my r6 board....
as a few others have said here.. nobody is forcing you to read the threads, if you dont like them, then just ignore them. No thread will be locked simply because it is politically or religiously oriented. thats a part of what OT is for. if we adopted that rule then the equally annoying BS threads started on a regular basis could also be purged - simply because they are irritating. Threads will only be locked due to excessive flaming. and the "flamers" will be dealt with accordingly, just like with any other thread
