I purchased a brand new connect to cruise LS3 and 6L80e to install in my 68 Camaro. From the get go I had serious shift flaring especially when cold from 2-3 and 3-4th gear shifts. After an hour of driving the shifting improves but still flares , but not as rough.We programmed the trans TWICE and still having shift flaring. After a few months of trouble shooting , GM performance finally gave up and sent me another brand new 6L80e trans. We installed it (with new trans harness too) and it STILL had shift flaring in the exact gears when cold ! Then GM asked me to unplug the MAF sensor and to drive for about 60-70 miles , still no change . Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct this problem? The new LS3 motor runs great so far. It’s just this shift problem. Any suggestions for fixing this is most welcome!
