i got an old CDA- 9847. ( Alpine head unit) and it threw a interrupt code. I found the problem ( the pink interrupt wire wore a hole in it and grounded). But after i got a new harness for it, and rewired it... it still wont work. Still just the interrupt code. Anything i can do to save it or is it fubar now?

 

Probably not worth the time and effort to fix it, haha. Why don't you just buy a new one? You can get em pretty cheap now, under $100.

prolly not worth it. even if u do fix it...by the time you get done burning up your fingertips and cussing, it wont be worth it IMO

 

so theres no button sequence or anything i can do? its a take it apart and rebuild type thing?

 

Make sure u have good conection between all the wires.
check fuses
make sure the ends of the wires are in the back of the deck good.
sum have a reset button on the front of the headunit or in the back of the deck.
otherwise its prolly fried.
