i was on my way home wondering if i had a spare in the back didnt check when i bought the car. so i get home after work an i look and yes its there and looks great. so i deside i will take it out and as i am im looking an relize that my sub could fit if i made a custom box and i throw my amp on top, and put the plastic over it so its hiden! i think its a sweet idea idk how it will sound but i dont wanna take up room in the car so i figured that thats the best place wat do ya think? i will get pics up soon it was to dark!

and i have only the ten and it sounds great! makes your eyes kinda wierd when ya drive!

yeah thats kinda wat i will do but i have a 10 disc cd changer where u put urs so mine will be on the other side an the stock plastic cover will be going over it so u wont be able to see it at all i think it will be mint i need to get pics up soon keep forgeting

 

My b/f did this but in a bmw and it worked out really well. The only real issue was when he made the fiberglass box in the spare tire well the car smelled for like a week. Other than that I'm sure it would work out fine.

haha, i got a stiff learning about "custom" boxes you buy online. make it yourself. you will enjoy the sound and quality much more than a low quality prefab box. and i found this to be true with the box i originally had for my 10. it was made of particle board.. and thats normal for fiberglass. when it fully cures the smell goes away from the fiberglass. its absorbed into watever is around and that will air out in time as well. if your gonna build a fiberglass box. talk to someone whose done it first. if youve never fiberglassed before, you could get frustrated and anoyed and you wont want to be near anything made of fiber ever again lol.

 

i always make my boxes myself i am just making a lil particle board one first i will be taking my back seats out an haveing a buddy make a figerglass one to lay across where the seats would be and geting it painted black! i will never buy a box from online cuz they are really cheaply made ive bought 2 and made them over agian cuz it was just that bad! i didnt know anyone tryed it before just on my way home from work an bam it hit me no one will even no its there lol yeah its the stock sound lmao!
