I recently installed a cd/dvd player, and everything works fine, except no dvd pic? The pink wire (parking brake wire) is hooked up to the parking brake switch, but still only get the blue caution screen saying put vehicle in park and apply brake! so my only question is can i jumper that wire back to itself and by/pass that feature? or will it lock it down in protection mode? have followed the troubleshoot guide in the manuel to the letter, and still no luck, but i only installed on sunday! anyone have an idea? i would appreciate it. You can just bypass the wire, just to make sure that your brake isn't the problem. Take the parking wire, and put it directly into a ground. That will tell you if it's a brake problem or something else
