Default 1995 CD Player

Allright so first off, I'm new to this forum and wanna' say whats up.

As for my question; I just bought a 95 and everything on the car works great. The only problem is theCD player. The stereo andtunner work great but every timeI put aCDin, it trys to read it, then spits it right back out.

Will I have to get a new deck or is there some way to fix this problem?

Is it stock? Are you trying to put in a mp3 cd? A new head unti is really simple upgrade, and cost starts at 80 bucks from walmart. You can get a nice one for 100- 150 and a competition sound head unit from 200 and up. Does the head tell you and erre code when you put in the disc? Have you pushed the little reset button?

Yes, it is the stock Delco Bose head. When I put a disk in itdoesn't say erre, it just spits it back out. I'll try the reset button today. I guess if that doesn't work i'll just go get a new one.

Sounds like you need to try a cleaning disc.

Failing that, let me know, I can sell you my Bose Radio/CD deck from my '95 Camaro -- should be the same as the '94...
