15 in subs
hello all quick question. would this box fit in my 95 camaro? i get it says 84-92 but would it fit? or does anyone know where i can get one for two 15 inch subs?
|
You would have to custom build a box to fit your Camaro if you want two 15"s... Oh and you forgot the link... And if it says 84-92, it obviously will not fit a 95. I've seen people custom build their own box for 93-02 Camaros that fit two 15"s. Good luck and welcome aboard the forum :)

That would take up so much of the already little space that you have in the car. I would just go with 10" subs.

lol i noticed i forgot something after i walked away |
First off, no it will not fit. Second, you don't want ANY enclosure made with 5/8MDF... ALWAYS go with 3/4MDF or 1in MDF. NEVER and i repeat NNEEVVEERR use 5/8MDF!!!

what is 5/8 mdf?
|
It's the thickness of the wood they used to construct the enclosure. 5/8 is weak and too thin for 15's. 3/4 is a must!
Here! I found a box for you: http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...er_NCM215.aspx |
MDF stands for Medium Density Fiberboard. 5/8's refers to how thick (in inches) the wood is.

This is basically what you want. If you want something premade ^ Here is my sub setup, I have no idea what the box is, it's just what the guy already had in there. I figured it was worth the extra 250. http://i397.photobucket.com/albums/p...o/100_4777.jpg On this note, Probably added close to 70 (estimate) pounds to the car. |
thanks guys so much iv been looking FOREVER for this!!! I live in chicago an extra 70 pounds in the back during winter doesnt sound bad to me
