Default Wheel sizes

I noticed when ordering wheel replacements for my 97 Z the wheels are staggeded 17 in front and 18 in rear does it have to be staggered for turning radius purposes? When I purchased the C6 Z06 replacement wheels for my C5 Vette it was the same but I wanted to do 18's all around. Does anyone know if this is possible without cutting or removing inner wheel wells?

Thanks
Mark

nope from the factory you should have had 16 or 17 inch wheels all the way around. 18s will fit fine.

315/35/17s will fit with a little bending of steel. had to hammer a little on the inside and that was mostly for piece of mind. i did roll the fenders as well. without mods at all 295s would be fine on back, 275s will fit all the way around with possible rub on front when turning hard over.
