Question Rear brakes

Okay, since I bought this 1995 2 years ago, I've had to remove the right rear brake drum twice to dump out the brake dust. It gets so thick in there that that tire will lock up and not really release until you come to a complete stop. The only side to do it is the right rear. I always thought the dust works its way out on its own. Wear on the pads themselves is not bad at all. All this time and they still have lots of life left. So,,, what gives?? Any idea's out there?

sounds like something is sticking and holding the brakes on on that side, may be the slave/brake cylinder or could be e brake cable.

you'd think so, but just take off the drum, get rid of the dust, put it all together and all is fine for a few months. Then, repeat.

check the other side and make sure its working, not jambed up and forcing all the work to the other side.
