Default Looking for new tires.

Hey guys. Looking for some suggestion on new tires. I currently have Yokohoma VR4's 24/50/r16's. They don't make em anymore and even the newer versions they don't make in that size. I's love to have some BFGoodrich sport comp-2's but they seem pretty pricey at the shop. Guy at the ship said Uniroyal Tiger Paw GTZ All‑Season's were good. They've got a W rating which is nice too :P. I'm trying not to break the bank here. Have any of you used the tiger paws? Got any other suggestions? The tiger paws will run me in the $600 range once mounted and balanced. I don't really like the tread design as much as the VR4's and the comp 2's, doesn't look like it would channel water as well. Not saying I'm going to haul a$$ in the rain but still, I've had one wreck in the rain and since then I like to get the best I can for crap conditions. So I'm open to all your suggestions.

Edit: Something funny to add to this. I priced the comp 2's at Plaza tire, it's a popular place here in MO, and I've gotten tires there before for good prices so I took their price of $1200 con comp 2's to mean they were hella expensive regardless of what I found online. Went ahead and called our Sams Club and priced them there and they were only $700 mount and balanced and a plethora of other services O_O For $700 I'll probbaly go with the comp 2's but I'd still like to hear your inputs on what you guys use/like.

I had Sport Comp 2s on my Camaro for a while. Absolutely loved them. Lots of traction dry and wet. I can look, but I think I could paid $6-700 for them shipped to my door and another $50 or so for mount and balance

So it sounds like Sams pricing is right on. They'll also give me an $80 gift card to Sams or Walmart with the purchase so that's nice. Time to get rid of the VR4's. I was going to keep on them for the summer as they have very slight weathering on the outside but the other day I noticed a decent yet still small crack between one of the treads :/

I put Firestone FireHawk Wide Ovals on mine. Love the traction over the original Goodyear, and are a very quiet rolling tire. I'd highly recommend them. My local Firestone shop matched the online price i found, and included free balancing.
