I want a taller side wall now, the low profile tire looks ok ,but for more of a race look as to street look a 275 40 17 is looking like the plan ,but got to use up the ones I have may take a few years

I bought 245/50/16 bfg comp 2 a/s . They are sweet,Im real happy with them. Way better than the 235/55,plus I measured the fender gaps and hub centers after swapping tires,no different even tho the 245 is smaller, must be because it's stiffer ,idk.

wider tires set the car higher. for 315 you would go down more yet to like a 40

that's nice but a low profile tire ,I have 255 the 275 seems for value the best for a taller tire ,but that's all you need they spin alot easyer then taller tires do 40 is wider, but like my v6 that's all you need ,I am putting 225 50 16 on mine or 245 mabey ,then 275 40 17s on the z after I use them up the 225 50 16 $265,00 4 tires I drive my v6 like gram for about 300.00 I can go to 245,they don't make 255 40 16 or that what I would get for the v6 ,only in 17in they make them cheap $300.00,but $425.00 for 275 40 17 is doable
