If it is just brake dust caked on the wheels, I'm afraid your going to have to get a bucket of soapy water and a scrub brush or tooth brush and get to work on them. There are plenty of wheel cleaners out there to assist in this endeaver, but nothing really substitutes for good ol elbow grease. If your loking for commercially available wheel cleaners, just head to your nearest auto parts store or walmart and check out the section where they have the car washing supplies. Mothers, Meguiars, Griots, Lanes...spray on liquids, wipe on pastes, all kinds of things out there. I have used the Meguiars kit that has a buffer pad that goes on a drill with some success, but if they are really dirty, your just going to have to work on them to get them shiny again.
