what does the gas gauge say. if your getting air it sounds like you may be running out of gas. the 4th gens fuel gauge is not the best, my first ran out just above 1/8th tank.

Previous owner changed the fuel pump and messed up the gauge so it always reads full. But she always keeps her full.

with air there is only a couple things it could be. the line is under pressure from the pump to the injector so no air can get in there. has to be in the pump or your outta gas. if a cheap china pump was used then i would not be surprised to see a failure. do the hatch if it does not have one. once in it cuts fuel pump change to a 1 hr job.

Bought a pressure tester from harbor freight and go figure missing something.

LOL LOL asked my wife if there was gas in the car. "Of course dear" she says. Two gallons of gas and she fires right up. Take her to the gas station and still going.

I've been watching this thread out of curiosity, but just had to jump in to add something.....LMAO!!!
Might want to get that gas gauge fixed some day.

lol, kool, got it figured out. expensive fix. or good plan to get the old man to fill the tank.
