Default won't start after alternator change

We changed the alternator earlier, and it sparked where the positive wire connects to the alt. My buddy forgot to unhook the battery. We installed the replacement alt. and now it wont turn over. The fuel is pump is kicking on, battery is good, lights, everything, just wont turn over. We've tried it in Park and Neutral and check all fuses on the side of the dash. It's a 93 base automatic with a 3.4l v6. Can someone help me one what to look for now, if there is a fuse or relay to check?

You may blown a fusible link or fried the computer, they do not like power surges.

I don't think it would have somethin to do with the ecu, because it wouldn't turn over at all. We got it fixed and running.

If you got it fixed and running, then you know what was wrong. Correct?
