as far as darkness goes, tinting laws vary state to state, so I'd probably look it up on the DMV website. As far as price goes, do some shopping around, but I'd highly recommend not getting anything without a lifetime warranty. Poorly done tinting will often bubble and peel and look like absolute crap. Happy hunting.

laws vary but your local tinting shop should have the answer as to how dark you can go

tinting laws very state to state and some places are more strict on it than others as well... in missouri the law is dark as you want on the back and 35% on the front but i went 5% all around and i havent got messed with at all and some shops will do illegal tinting for you but some wont and cost will be different at every shop.... and if you have the option pay more money and get the better film its well worth it

The one thing that I am suprised wasnt mentioned. All of that yards and yards of back glass get it in one piece. Again not 2 sections , not 3 sections , none of this spliced together bs 1 BIG piece. An just to fit in check the laws for your state . Dont let a friend of a friend do it either in his garage , for like a case of beer . Get it professionally done with a warrenty. Cost does vary greatly . I just had mine done prices ranged from just below $300 to what I paid $140. Just check around.

Hi Adam, have you tried checking the current tinting law in your state? Check it at www.TintBuyer.com. They also provide all the information your needed for your tinting needs such as the different types of tint, quotations and will help you locate the best professional window tinters near your area. I hope this helps, good luck
