window motor

Default window motor

I hace a 98 Camaro and the driver window motor is going or so i hope. my mechanic says it will be about $450 is this right?

Thats exactly what I paid to get mine done.
I think I may have heard it wasn't to hard of an install before, but I didn't want to hassle with it.

I paid about $435 for mine to get done took them like 4 hours. But i hear its a pain in the *** to do it yourself.

mine just went out the other day. not lookin forward to getting a new one, it stay brokin for a while lol

guys dont pay that....do it yourself its very easy. theirs a wright up on here shows you step by step how to do it. i just did mine took 1hr total. never done it before. oh window motor atadvance auto 50 bucks. hope you try it good luck.

Yeah, I had to get mine fixed asap.
The passenger window was down, it was freezing (in Texas, lol) and it was going to ice lol. And I have no garage to work in, wasn't about to work outside lol.

YOu ALL got ripped... I paid $20 for the motor and did it myself in 30 minutes...

Have you guys even ever tried to replace it? The first one may take you an hour and a half if your not mechanicaly inclined, but once youve got it down, 30 minutes is if your goin slow replaceing the motor. YOU GOT RAPED UP THE BUTT FOR THAT PRICE. Go to the sticky in the fourth gen section on replacing the window motors.
