hi, i have a 92 camaro rs, v-6. i also own a rotting 1967 pontiac firebird. this firebird's gotta 326 5.3 v-8. the engine is in perfect conditon but car will need about 15 grand to make it half way decent.so i'd like to take out the v-6 and put the 326 in the camaro. has anybody ever heard or seen this transplant or anything like it before? if you have, what kinda work am i getting into? thank you, alex

 

honestly i don't know i tried to put a 400 out of a 78 trans am in an 87 sport coupe and that didn't work

 

ur getting into too much work to bother with it...just sell both and get a V8 camaro

 

now that i think about it back then the camaro and the firebird had the same engines so it has a 327 and yes it will fit but it would be a pain in the ***. Another question what are you going to do with the engine and transmission out of the camaro
