hey guys Im just wondering if there is a place I can find all the specs for my car.Its a 94 V6..I know the basics.But Im trying to find out what Model trans I have etc.Its the auto.I wouldnt think its a 700r4.But maybe it is.Any help?

 

The transmission in your car is a 4L60E. It is basically a 700R4 but it is totally computer controlled. It is a 4 speed with 4th being overdrive, also uses a torque converter clutch (TCC) for better economy. Any changes in shift points have to be done by recalibrating the PCM, as the 4L60E does not use a TV cable.

 

Call Chevrolet and tell them you would like more information on the 94 camaro. They Sent me what they call a "rebuild Kit" or something like that which is about a 30 page spec sheet on everything about the 94 camaro Lt1 specs on one page and 3.4 V6 on the other. it was free and its very interesting to read. The Number is 1-800-222-1020 you'll have to give them your VIN then they will send it. The lady told me it would be 3-7 weeks and I got it the same week I called.
